Day 1, Friday Jun 14, 2024, from 5:30pm-3:00am will feature a Prequel to Ballroom, Poetry Slam and Night Party.
Day 2, Saturday Jun 15, 2024, from 1:00pm-3:00am will feature panel discussions, live musical performances and closing out with The Honors Ball.

PREQUEL TO BALLROOM with LEOMY “MYAKE-MUGLER"
Prequel to Ballroom Exhibition will consist of a history lesson of ballroom/showcase and a team production category headed by team captains that will curate a team to compete. It will act as a means of engaging and kick-starting our festival participants to the fullest extent, and exposing the festival goers on Friday to what is to come at the Honors Ball.
Each team will consist of 4 people that will represent the four categories (Face, Best Dressed, Performance, and Runway). Teams will also be required to bring it in shades of brown. Each team, no more than 4 teams, will put together a team production of no more than 3 minutes with all four categories being showcased.
Winning team will be chosen by sole judge, Icon Leiomy Miyake Mugler and will snatch a grand prize of $1K for their team.

Invincible Summer Enterprises (ISE) will curate an art experience featuring 5 Black, Queer artists in Tampa Bay. Come Kick Back with local artists, purchase some dope art and meet the artists.

"Intersectional Politics and Advocacy" Panel Discussion
Local nonprofit, Justice Over Everything will host a panel discussion on the topic of Intersectional Politics and Advocacy featuring Florida State Senator Shevrin Jones, Florida State Representative Michelle Rayner, City of St. Petersburg LGTBQ+ Liaison, Eric Vaughn. Moderated by Dr. Byron Green with opening and closing remarks by Equality Florida Executive Director, Nadine Smith.
Local and Regional Black, LGBTQ+ Bands and solo artists grace the Shades of Pride Stage.

King Jives Live “Influential Influencers” Panel Discussion will be an innovative content creator and content builder panel that will consist of audience participation and teaching the audience what it’s like to be Black Queer Influencer. It will be dedicated to highlighting the diversity and talent of Black, Brown, and LGBTQIA+ content creators and content builders.
Panelists include: TaeDa Tea, Leiomy Miyake-Mugler, Dymond Carrington and Darius Lightsey.

St Pete Pride and Ladies Intervention Project for Success (LIPS FLORIDA) have partnered for the second year to continue the community conversation surrounding the health and social challenges black and brown Transwomen face daily. This Panel Discussion will feature six prominent Black and Brown Trans Women including Ms. Ashunte Coleman, Executive Director of LIPS FLORIDA on a panel discussing the life and experience of Black and Brown Transwomen. Moderated by Internationally renowned beauty pageant Queen and Ball Room Diva Jazelle Barbie Royale. Join Jazelle and these amazing women as they delve into their lived experiences and the lessons learned.

Closing out the Shades of Pride Juneteenth, LGBTQ+ Art and Music Fest, The Honors Ball will honor monumental talent, fashion, film, lifestyle and overall black culture. The honors ball will recognize individuals with awards and will list categories that will require individuals to pay homage to various communities of black culture. Emceed by TABU and Yummy Xclusive-Lanvin with Special guest Judges; Leiomy Miyake-Mugler and Jazell Barbie Royale.
