St Pete Pride 2024 Grand Marshal Nominations
St Pete Pride is excited to announce that nominations for St Pete Pride 2024 Grand Marshal's opens April 5th!
This year, we are seeking nominations for St Pete Pride Grand Marshals who embody the vibrant spirit of a Rainbow Revolution Icon within our local LGBTQIA+ community in Tampa Bay. Our Grand Marshals will be chosen based on their remarkable contributions over the years to advancing the principles of equality, inclusivity, and empowerment. Icons of the Rainbow Revolution are individuals who have tirelessly championed social justice, promoted health and wellness, advocated for education and civil rights, fostered economic equality, or demonstrated exceptional leadership in community-building endeavors for the LGBTQIA+ community in and around St. Petersburg.
We invite nominations for those shining beacons of inspiration who have become synonymous with the essence of the Rainbow Revolution in our area. These local gay icons symbolize the resilience, diversity, and strength of our community, serving as role models for future generations. The selection of Grand Marshals will be a collaborative process, with input from both the Board of Directors and the community at large.
Let us come together to celebrate and honor those who have made a profound impact on the journey towards a more inclusive and accepting society. Together, let us elevate the voices and stories of our local LGBTQIA+ heroes and allies who continue to pave the way for progress and change.
Individuals and organizations may be nominated for Grand Marshal. Individual Grand Marshal Nominees need to have their main residence within the seven counties of Tampa Bay and self-identify as a LGBTQIA+ or ally who has demonstrated outstanding contributions to the Tampa Bay LGBTQIA+ Community. Organization Grand Marshal Nominees need to be headquartered within the seven counties of Tampa Bay and provide equal access to services to members within the LGBTQIA+ Community. This organization must be active in the community with a current board of directors or membership. Only those organizations who are non-profit or not-for-profit are eligible.
Nominations will be open from April 5th-April 15th though the form below (available beginning April 5).
Grand Marshal voting will take place from April 22nd at 5pm-May 1st at 4pm through this link.
